ABOUT ME
Filmmaking . Brand Development . Photography
I’ve spent over the past decade as a freelance videographer/photographer working in a variety of industries. I began working in a bicycle shop doing sales in 2006 and went on to start producing television shows for mountain biking events. I’ve had many diverse experiences and exciting challenges in the history of my working career.
As my portfolio grew from outdoor events to conferences and corporate communication I was exposed to a wide range of clients and projects, providing invaluable experience in handling different production requirements and meeting tight deadlines. I developed the ability to capture an event with precision and creativity which lead to other avenues of work. Video production has taught me attention to detail, the ability to understand building an image and what an audience absorbs can be strategically crafted into a marketing strategy.
I ventured into content creation for car dealerships and 4x4 brands where I conceptualised and executed content strategies that aligned with the brand's objectives, driving engagement and boosting brand visibility. My ability to blend creativity with strategic thinking proved instrumental in achieving tangible results for these clients.
I have also been involved in creating viral videos that captivated audiences and generated buzz online. From heartwarming stories to adrenaline-pumping adventures.
One of the pivotal moments in my career came when I collaborated on the production of a full-length documentary. Working closely with a producer, we spent a year and a half weaving a compelling narrative together that best portrayed the companies 50 year history.
I’ve had countless adventures and travels, through rugged terrain or navigating bustling cities, I enjoy the art of efficient travel, meticulously planning each trip to ensure smooth execution. Attention to detail, adaptability, and quick thinking have been invaluable assets in navigating diverse environments and overcoming challenges along the way.
